A Day Filled With Tights and Wedges

I wore this outfit last week, and I feel in love with this dress all over again. Last Spring I mainly paired it with a white cardi and a scarf that matched too perfectly. I was digging for another Spring item in my attic (which I can't find!) when I came across this cobalt blue dress! I wanted to style it differently than usual, so I paired it with grey! The tights and sweater I loved, and I added some pink with the scarf. Now... I tried something new and I am not sure how it worked, so you tell me.... how do we feel about tights and wedges? I really like the look here, and have seen it on other bloggers and magazines, but it is The Cat's Meow?

The wind has been something else here in New England!! That day I hunted all over the house for a good place that won't get me blown away, and the corner of the yard it was!

Out of the Ordinary

Catch Up

These past few days I have been sick just like everyone else in New England! For me, when I am not feeling well you can tell in my outfits, and I stayed in jeans all week. I didn't want to have you all wait for me to be back to my self again to feature some pictures so I rounded up some favorites of mine from my bedroom and created a few pictures that are from my week.

This week I have been buried in the Twilight books, enjoyed numerous cups of tea, painted my nails, and tried to jazz up my outfits that consisted of jeans with accessories!

Valentines day was also this week... Matt knows I'll take sunflowers over roses any day! Aren't they beautiful, they just made my week!

For my 21st birthday my parents had this painted for me. It is a painting done my a local artist and cousin of mine, of my pride and joy- Mihn... the colors just brighten up my room!

Now as I said, I have been under the weather but I had alot of time on my hands as well. When I wasn't lost in a book, I decided I would organized my closet... how did I do?

Double Dipped!

I bought this blouse a while ago at a local consignment shop, and I haven't really worn it much. Tuesday I went to class and wanted to take advantage of my new love for parking garages and get out of my sweats to take some pictures for you! I did copy this blouse/cardi combo from an event I went to this weekend, I just love the two together so I had to double dip and wear it again!

Last Minute

Friday morning I woke up not feeling that good, so I hit the alarm off and took a personal day off from class. It was nice to lounge around for the day before I spent a few hours babysitting than off to work for the evening. Everything I did on Friday, I waited for the last minute- included taking these pictures!

I am really having Spring fever, and so early in the season!

I guess you all know that I love navy, and I paired it with lime green here!

Inspiration

I have been quite casual for my normal self so today I ripped out a dress from my closet. I kind-of cheated a bit because this dress is super comfy, and I did make it more casual. I have been eyeing a new place for my photos, and the other day when I was parking my car I noticed how awesome the city looked from the top of a parking garage. I had instant inspiration to have this as my next photo. Today the garage I would like to have featured was closed, but I think this did some justice as well! I love how the shadows look too!

On Purpose?

Yesterday was a beautiful day, but just as the sun was starting to hide behind the clouds it turned windy and cold... and I was out there with my camera barring it all for you! With that, I had to leave my jacket on, luckily it matched perfectly!

I had yesterday off from work, and had a few appointments to go to after school. I have been really casual lately...still not in school mood so I just grabbed my favorite jeans, tee and sweater.

The bag matched so well I couldn't help it!!

Told you!! A few days ago I paired navy with coral, and I said it was a favorite combo of mine...well a few days later here I am!

Today is Matt's birthday and we celebrated with a great morning at Church, lunch, and a Superbowl party at his house. I am not a fan of football, so I wanted to show my support by wearing blue all over!!

Into the Night

Yesterday I was lucky to have a Saturday off! It was really needed and I did some errands around town, and I had a therapeutic lunch date with a good friend! I didn't run around in this awesome jersey dress, I sported a pair of jeans and a blouse and cardi combo, a typical go to for me!

Matt'd birthday is this weekend and I wanted to treat him to his favorite restaurant. By the time the dress came on, it was dark out, so I experimented with taking pictures outside at night - I love how it intensifies the color of my sweater!!

Change of Plans

Have you ever had one of those days where one something happends and everything eles falls apart? Well today I totally had a day like that!! I was planning on class in the morning and a coffee date followed by some much needed errands, but I traded that for an emergency vet visit- for you cat lovers she is okay!

After the stress of the morning I stayed in bed and did some homework until I had to face the world and head off to work. I needed to lift my spirits and this coral cardi screamed my name in my closet! Coral and navy have always been a favorite of mine, I just love the combo!

Exploring an Ancient World...

Today consisted with another outfit change, and for some of my new followers you will find that I do this often! I woke up for class to a gross rainy day and to be honest I had no intention of getting dressed...so jeans and an over sized sweater it was! Because of the rain I snapped only a few pictures of my morning look, and I have one for you!

This afternoon on the other hand was sunny and warm and Matt and I ventured into the city for dinner and a new exhibit at the Museum of Science. It was so nice to go out and do something new, the exhibit we saw featured Pompeii and I absolutely recommend going to see it! Going into the city I wanted to feel comfortable because I knew we were going to be doing a lot of walking. I kept my jeans and boots and switched my sweater for another!!
