Rawr! DAY SIXTY-SIX

Today I had class, and did some errands in the afternoon. That night Matt and I headed to the movies to see African Cats...it was a great documentary!!

I started Monday off with jeans and a tee...I have a art class and I don't want to accessorize with paint!! I wanted to be warm and comfy while watching the movie so I grabbed my favorite sweater from the winter, but paired in with a spring inspired tee!

Happy Easter!!!! DAY SIXTY-FIVE

Happy Easter!! Sunday was filled with family and food...a great combo! I was up early for sunrise service, than hit is back into bed. Once I woke up we had brunch with the family than I headed to my Aunt's house for dinner.

I will admit, than I cheated a bit with this outfit. Last time I wore this dress I styled it with a white cardigan...and I was planning to through in a yellow one, but I wanted to stay more concervative...so I changed it up with the accessories and the shoes!!

Purple People Eater!! DAY SITY-FOUR

Saturday was rainy and cold..boo!! It was real busy at work due to the fact that Easter was the next day. I worked all day, and headed into bed as soon as I came home. I tried on a few options for Saturday's outfit. I started with jeans and some layering pieces, than tried on a blazer...than another dress, but ended up with this one. I can say I am happy with my choice!!

Jess' Day Off. DAY SIXTY-THREE

Today I gave myself a personal day. I woke up not feeling well, and I have alot of stuff to do before the semester ends in THREE weeks....sooo....I took the day off and caught up on some stuff. I slept in a bit and than headed to the library to do some much needed homework. After spending the whole morning there Matt and I picked up Tripoli's and did some errands. That night we headed to a local movie theatre where the Christian Film Festival was being held!

We also had a fun photo shoot in the theatre parking lot tonight.

Breakfast at Tiffany's DAY SIXTY-TWO

Yesterday I had to day off from classes and worked in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day here in New England, but very windy!! I had to hold my hair running into work!

As you know I usually don't wear my hair up, but as I was getting ready I looked at a picture of Audrey Hepburn I have in my room and was inspired to wear my hair on the top of my head!! To be honest...I like the look :)

As you can see mom and I had a great time with this photo shoot! This is my favorite outfit so far!!

Dress for Success DAY SIXTY-ONE!

Wednesday I had class, and it was another cold and rainy day. It still does not feel like Spring!! I threw on a sweater and some jeans. Later that night I was invited to a Dress For Success and Etiquette dinner with school. It was such a great experience. I did change out of my sweater and jeans to be appropriate. I scored this dress from Target for $2.97!!!

April Showers Better Bring may Flowers!! DAY SIXTY!

Tuesday it poured! I worked that night and lounged around all day. It also rained Wednesday...Spring is here but where is the weather!?!?

This is one of my favorite dresses. I bought it last fall, but realized it has seen more of my closet than me. I have been wanting to try some new fashions and I thought that Tuesday I would try knee socks. I am still not sold on the trend...tell me what you think!!!

Monday was a holiday and I didn't have class! I went to work in Natick with a few other girls from the store to help out a bit. The Natick mall is so beautiful!!!

A New Staple DAY FIFTY-EIGHT

A few weeks ago I picked up this blouse from work. It has been sitting in my room screaming at me to wear it! It is a simple sleeveless blouse, but I have some great outfits lined up for it. I worked Saturday during the day, than had some much needed girl time with some friends from work!!

I paired this blouse with plum... I loved the two shades of purple together. (The blouse is a light lavender!)

Seasonal....I Hope!!! DAY FIFTY-SEVEN

Friday morning I woke up with the worst allergies!! Today I am still not feeling as well, but I am hoping that they are just seasonal.

I had class in the morning than our Fashion Club met. I threw on a tee today and was running late! That afternoon I did some errands, than Matt and I had date night. Originally we were going to head into the city, but we both weren't feeling it, so we stayed local and did some shopping!

I changed before we headed out into something more me, and as we were taking pictures the sun was setting. It was so beautiful but blinding!!!

An Icon DAY FIFTY-SIX

Last Wednesday I picked up this awesome bag at the MFA gift shop...isn't it great!!!

Thursday I worked til close, and it was another beautiful day in New England. I wanted to wear something that would go with this bag and I thought of this blouse. I usually don't wear just a button up blouse...so I needed to add some Jess into it! I layered it with a white cardi, rocked the boat shoes and threw on the jewelry...there can never be too much!! It was a comfy-casual day for me!

Never To Old For A Feild Trip! DAY FIFTY-FIVE

Today it poured!! Our fashion club at school took a trip to the MFA to check out a textile exhibit of the designer Scaasi. It was such a great trip!!

Here are a few pictures of the exhibit. (These are my favs!) I was so busy taking pictures of the clothing I only captured one picture of me!! It isn't the best photo!!

Sunday was another beautiful day in New England!! I worked all day, but it was real busy and it was still a great day.

This skirt is a new favorite of mine. It is a clean pallette and I love the color combo of the yellow, navy, and the grey! I have a feeling that you will be seeing alot of this skirt! I need to find a new way to style it...the past two times I have worn it, I styled it pretty much the same.

A Girl Can Never Have Too Many Pink Dresses!!! DAY FIFTY-TWO

I really have to start keeping up with these posts!!!!

Last Saturday I took the day off..and I couldn't have picked a better day! The sun was shining, and it was warm outside.I slept in and hit the gym in the morning. I had a family party to go to that afternoon to celebrate my cousin's third birthday!!

Friday was another beautiful day!! I woke up early and grabbed bagels for Matt and I. I had class that day and than had a Fashion Club meeting! After school I headed into work, than walked the mall for a few hours!

I usually don't wear my hair up, but I was having a bad hair day!! Looking back, I think it turned back into a good hair day!

A Sweater Kind Of Day! DAY FIFTY!!!

I am so excited that I made it fifty days through this journey!! Looking back I see that I improved in my picture taking, and realized that I haven't worn the same thing twice...issue I know! I am making a new challenge for myself. Keeping this blog going, still talking fashion, while keeping up with not wearing the same thing twice!! Can I do it???

Thursday was a nice day again! I am so happy that the Spring weather is here to stay. I worked the closing shift, and did some errands that morning. Although it was a beautiful day out, I was not feeling a dress. I picked up this sweater from work with the intentions of saving it for the beach, but it was screaming my name!! It is too casual to wear as is so I styled it to make it a casual work day!!

To make this sweater work appropriate I layed it with a cami, threw on a belt and a scarf. Also I grabbed some gold jewelry, and went heavier on the mascara!
