I have been loving my hair in a bun lately. It is summer out here in New England and it has been warm and humid..so the hair needs to be thrown up!

Hem It Up DAY NINETY

I picked up this dress last week and I knew that it was going to be a go to for the summer. I loved the fit, but it was miles long, so I had my Nana Vi hem it up a few inches and now it is perfect!

High Waisted and Maxi DAY EIGHTY-NINE

Yesterday I had the need to try something new. I saw Stacy Clinton on a commercial and she was wearing high waisted wide leg trousers and this look came into mind. It is not something I usually would wear, but I think it worked out well.

New Addition DAY EIGHTY-EIGHT

The other day at work we got shipment with these tees in them. Everyone can say that I am not a tee-shirt kind of girl but I just had to invest in the lilac one...and I think it is a great new addition to my closet. When I bought this tee I had this skirt in mind. It is something I planned to trow in over bathing suits, but the two were just two perfect!! To make it more work appropriate I threw on a navy cardi.

Work was super busy Thursday, so later that night Matt came over for some ice cream and a movie!

Back In the Game.... DAY EIGHTY - SEVEN

This week has been a rough one. I was ready to throw in the towel yesterday, but was uplifted when Mihn came home. (She was missing since Sunday!!!) Also...I must apologize that I was off a few days on my blog..today is 78 days!!

So..I am back in the game!!!!

Today really made up for the past few days. I had a great morning and the sun was shining!!! I did some running around and grabbed lunch than took it easy and enjoyed my only day off!

Finally some nice weather!!! It was about 80 in the sun!!!!

Saturday was finally a great day!!! It has been such a rainy week, and I was ready for some sunshine!!! This color was screaming sunshine in my eyes!!

This Friday was the start of another crazy workend!! I bought this shirt a while back and originally wore it with a A-line black skirt so it looked like a dress. I wanted to change up this look and thought it would look great with these cargos...I think I was right!!

Also, I wanted to bring out the yellow in the shirt and paired it with this new cardi I bought at work!

This past week here in New England has been cold and rainy!! Because of that weather, I have been living in leggings and my favorite sweatshirt...and I was lucky enough to have a few days off in a row! You know what that means...no pictures!

Second Chance ... DAY EIGHTY-TWO

Saturday was our style event at work and it was a crazy day!!! I worked the morning shift, and that night Matt and I had dinner at my house than did some errands.

I bought this sweater at work because it was the perfect match with a dress I bought, and I intended to only wear it with that dress. I knew when I bought it, that it was going to be a style challenge for me. When I was thinking about the event, this sweater popped into my head, and I wanted to re-create it...I did a good job didn't I!?

This is a total LOFT outfit!!

Also.... when I was taking my photos I found this huge frog!!

Perfect Pair...DAY EIGHTY-ONE

Friday I had a personal day and caught up on some much needed sleep before my workend. That night I worked all evening and took it easy. It was a beautiful day outside, and this dress was screaming my name...also this scarf was the perfect pair to Spring up this dress!!

The LBD.. DAY EIGHTY!!!!

Eighty days!!! It is such an accomplishment!

Thursday I worked all day, and it was alittle cloudy out. I wore this LBD the other day, but saw it in my closet and I had to throw it on again! I bought this at Target last week, and it is such a deal for 25 bucks. It has an exposed zipper in the back and I love the high neckline!

Also last week I picked up this new polka-dot scarf at work...I thought it would be perfect as a belt, and I was right!

I really like my hair like this too...it is very fashion forward!

In my merchandising class we had a semester long project to work on. I did my project on Oleg Cassini who designed Jackie Kennedy's wardrobe when she was first lady. You may not know....but I am Jackie-O obsessed!!!! When I picked this topic I knew I had to spot her look for my presentation.

Pop - O - Color DAY SEVENTY-EIGHT

I can not believe that I am 78 days into this journey!! It has been so great, and I am happy that I haven't repeated anything!

Yesterday I worked mid-day, and it was windy and chilly. Usually I grab a favorite dress this time of the year, but I was feeling jeans. To make myself  feel that I was in Spring mode, I threw on a pair of colorful wedges. I grabbed them from Payless for $7.50!!!

Yesterday we had another total outfit made from LOFT! (Shoes: Payless)

Monday is here and it is my last week of classes!!!

I am so excited than Summer is almost here. Today after class I did some errands and I am getting everything finished for the semester!
