About Time

I have been wanting to take pictures on this parking garage all semester, but it has been full each time.. but ta da! here it is! I love the view I have of downtown, and last night I took these as the sun was setting.

This blouse I have worn often, and I picked it up at a local consignment store. I love the colors of pale pink, grey, and cream, and how I can mix it with almost everything. It has been cooler the past few day considering the 80 degree weather we were spoiled with last week, so I paired this blouse with jeans, and hot pink to keep my spirit in Spring!

Learnin' How To Blog Bettah

I have talked a bit about Blog Better Boston, a conference with a ton of local bloggers to mingle, network, and learn more about blogs! I was one of many fashion bloggers, and learned alot about lifestyle, travel, and cooking blogs. It was so great to meet with other bloggers and 'talk shop,' as my dad would say!

During the day I attended a workshop on photo editing, learning how to use social networking, and how to work with brands.. just to name a few. The lovely ladies of Stylish Year and Good Girl Gone Blog did an amazing job of creating this event!!

Tell Me About It.... Stud

Today I wanted to do something different. As you can tell this is not me, but my stud of a friend Carlos! I have been contemplating featuring some male clothing designs, but my only option was Matt, and I would need an army to get that boy out of his flannel and sweats!

Menswear pieces have been in and out of style for woman throughout the decades, (I forever will love my boyfriend cardis!) and I am seeing now how menswear is evolving. Here I photographed Carlos in D.C. at The Smithsonian. I love his style anyways, but I gravitated to the color of his pants and knew he was the man for this post!

It is March. It is 85 degrees... Just Sayin'

Today was another beautiful day in New England! We have been so blessed with this beautiful warm, sunny, weather! With that said, I am in full dress mode, so I pulled out another sundress from my closet. I have told you many times about my love for navy, so today I paired it with pops of pink! I love the trends of popping color, and color blocking!

Sweet Kicks

This past week I was on Spring break and was lucky enough to go on a trip to DC. During the few days before I headed down with a group of students from my school, I worked a ton, and concentrated on mid-terms.

The weather in DC couldn't have been more perfect! It was sunny, warm, and the cherry blossoms bloomed early just for me! When I was packing for this trip I wanted to be comfortable because I knew I was going to be walking alot, (understatement) and be traveling from one place to another with no time to really change. I stayed in my pink sneakers, crops, and light weight knits great for the days events!

Sundress Time.

This morning was so beautiful outside!! It was very much a Spring day here in New England, and I enjoyed wandering around my yard having Matt snap pictures of my outfit. Today I worked for a few hours, enjoyed a cookout then spent the evening sitting by the Boston harbor with a giant cookie and Starbucks!

Lunch Break Date Night

New England has always have ups and downs with the weather- but this last week we went from 70 degrees to snow.... and that combo made me develop a sinus infection along with the rest of the population! That is my excuse for the lack of photos this past week.

Work has been really busy, and I have been planning a trip to D.C. with school, so things have been hectic. I haven't seen Matt for a few days, so he meet me for a microwave dinner, and a photo shoot during my work break!

Polka Polka Dots

I just love this scarf! And I bought it with dress in mind- great combo huh!? New England finally saw some snow, this dry winter is making me actually miss snow!! This dress I know you will see alot of, I picked it up on the sale rack at Macy's for about 15 bucks... score!

Pink and black are like coral and navy for me - addicting! I wanted to be bright yesterday with Spring in mind, but it was still cold, so I thought I would get a few more uses with the black cardi.
